CPB Contractors announces $107M package of wins

CPB Contractors has announced a $107 million package of wins across India and Australia.

 

In India, Leighton Asia, part of CPB Contractors, has been awarded two building contracts:

 

  • Hindu Heritage Experience Centre: JKP Foundation has selected Leighton Asia to deliver this prestigious heritage project in Mangarh, Uttar Pradesh. To be delivered under an alliance contract, the project involves the construction of an iconic Lotus building, Namaste structure and a retail, food and beverage precinct. Works will commence in August 2020 and completion is scheduled for 2022; and

  • Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (DAIS): The Jamnaben Hirachand Ambani Foundation, part of the Reliance Industries Limited Group, has selected Leighton Asia to deliver this high-profile project in Mumbai. The project involves the construction of an extension to the existing Dhirubhai Ambani International School, comprising three basement levels, ground and seven floors, plus terrace. Works have commenced and are scheduled to be completed in 2021.

 

In Australia, CPB Contractors and its subsidiary Broad Construction have been awarded contracts for building and infrastructure projects. The contracts are:


  • Aspley State High School: The Queensland Government’s Department of Education has selected Broad Construction to deliver works at the Aspley State High School in Brisbane. The project involves the construction of a music and visual arts centre and a multi-purpose sports hall. The project has commenced and is scheduled for completion in early 2021; and

  • Calder Park Signalling: The Victorian Government’s Rail Projects Victoria has awarded CPB Contractors, as part of the Rail Infrastructure Alliance, additional works for the Sunbury Line Upgrade in Melbourne. The design and construct work will provide signalling upgrades at Calder Park and is part of a broader program of work which is due for completion in 2023.
