CPB Contractors has delivered BHP’s Nelson Point Port Debottlenecking Works at Nelson Point, Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
These works will alleviate material handling bottlenecks and increase overall throughput by aligning the car dumpers and reclaimer rates to achieve greater net loading rates.
CPB Contractor’s scope of works included the mechanical and electrical procurement, shop detailing, fabrication, brownfield modifications, construction of a new stockyard conveyor and associated tie-ins.
This project, which involved both greenfield and brownfield works, builds on CPB Contractors’ substantial experience in delivering resources infrastructure.
CPB Contractors acknowledges the Kariyarra, Ngarla, and Nyamal people as the traditional and continuing custodians of the lands on which the Nelson Point Port Debottlenecking Works project was delivered.
